Cropped Polka Dots

The first day of spring has sprung!  Along with it, retail spring fever.  Last year around this time I was coveting cropped pants and this year the same thing!  These playful polka dots have been on my radar for a few months now.  When I saw them on another gal at the Southern Women's show in Memphis, I was sold.  Express had buy one pair of jeans get the second for $29.99, though now these bad boys are on sale for $39.99.  Not too shabby, especially since I liked all things cropped that they had to offer.  What spring purchases are you craving?

As Green as I Get

There are two times a year when I realize I don't really have much green in my closet.  Christmas, and St. Patty's Day.  We are going to have to cheat and go with bright neon yellow green & turquoise, okay kids?  Happy St. Patty's DAY!!!  In honor of my namesake, though my last name is spelled with an "i" and has Italian not Irish origins, I am going to be making corned beef and cabbage in the slow cooker today.  MUAH!!!  One of my faves that I have only on St. Patty's!  Are you making anything special today?  Will you be partaking in green beer drinking and ruben eating?  Speaking of food, this weekend I had the opportunity of attending Jillian Michaels: Maximize Your Life Tour stop in Nashville.  She had some great pearls of wisdom, such as which organic foods to put into your budget, ahem (meats & dairy).  I am definitely a fan of her work out dvds.  Her voice is authoritative.  Just what I need to hear to push me to hold my plank pose a little longer.  ; )

High Waisted Palazzo

This past weekend I attended the Southern Women's Show in Memphis, TN.  It was my first time attending one, and it was really fun!  Lotions, potions and free samples were around every corner.  I was working there as a vendor which was great, as I got to see everyone's fashionable outfits as they walked by our booth.  One thing that stood out to me was the number of palazzo pants!
Holy moly!  Good thing I was prepared with my own pair from Forever 21!

Another thing I wanted to touch on is my second spring obsession, Sephora's brand of blush cream in Poppy Pink!  This product goes on smooth as a dream, and blends into skin gorgeously.  It is absolutely perfect for a fresh faced spring glow!  A little goes a long way, the color pay off is build-able.  Wearing it on both my lips and cheeks!  (In the store it looks hot pink, do not be afraid)

Obviously I need to carry a scissors around with me, because that one piece does not want to cooperate- seen here.  What I wanted to focus on was my Endless Beauty Band which I purchased at the Southern Women's Show.  I have the company's website linked above, but the exact band I am wearing is not pictured on there at the moment.  I remember the owner, Daniel, saying that they would be getting more in.  So check back if you like this exact gold one.  I also had my eye on the Gatsby band.

PHOTO BOMB!  (Yes, I photo bombed my purse)

Color Me Pretty!

During birthday shopping escapades I stumbled upon some fantastic new nail polish colors at Urban Outfitters.  I bought four.  Then I went back and bought four more.  They are so pretty!  They are $5.00 each, or two for $8.00.  For the moment they are quenching my spring fever, and I know I will be getting a lot of use out of them come this summer!  Also thanks so much to my cousin Gina for bringing Seche Vite Fast Dry top coat to my attention!  Like she told me, it is the best and it hardens your nail polish in minutes.  Love, Love, Love!  I don't know how I've gotten along without it thus far.
