Sweater Cape

This is my favorite, most comfortable, Aztec sweater!  I styled it once here as well.  As I said in that post, I was going to be wearing it a lot.  And I did, basically the whole winter I had this bad boy on.  It is made of one of those boarder line sweatshirt/ sweater materials, which is the best kind of sweater.  I am taking a nod from Nicole Richie and wearing it as a cape.  There, now I don't have to buy a cape... though I kinda still want to.  Dang it!

Not so Black & White

I was on the hunt for a white cut- out shirt since last July, as you can see from my White Hot American Summer post.  Eventually I did find one that I liked but then never got to show it because it  got too cold!  Well, I busted it out for my "This is what I would've warn to go out for my birthday, if it wouldn't have been a snow day every single day that week."  It was too cold to do photos for the blog outside, so the hubby and I got creative.  Thanks for moving all the furniture boo boo, you're the best! ;)

Dusty Rose Trench

Hi Lovelies!!!  Hope you all had a great Valentine's Day!  I was traveling/working in Louisville, KY all last week so while I would've rather celebrated at home in Nashville, we did go to our favorite restaurant in Louisville four days in a row.  The food there is so good, and so is the service.  It's a place called Ramsi's CafĂ© on the World.  By day two we were friends with all the staff and our favorite waiter, Jason.  "Sometimes you wanna go, where everybody knows your naaaame", Cheers reference.  Anyone?  Anyway, if you are ever in the area, I highly recommend it!

One thing I have been craving lately, (besides Ramsi's) is pastels.  There is a baby blue trench that I have added and deleted from my Forever 21 basket several times.  Finally I manned up, and just  went to the store to try it on, or see if I could find it.  The blue one wasn't there, however I found this dusty rose number and as soon as I tried it on, I knew it would be mine.  This has pacified me... for now.  ;)

One of my favorite Nail Polishes, Deborah Lippmann: Blue Orchid

It is a vegan formula.  Pictured above is one coat of polish so there is good color payoff.  It is a bit on the expensive side $18.00, but for me this is the perfect color of pale blue.

Think Pink!

I'm getting into the spirit of Valentine's Day a little early over here at Patti Cake.  You don't have to drape yourself in hearts and glitter to get festive with it (unless that's what you're into),  but otherwise just a little pop of a bright color will do.  In this case, I chose pink.  It always makes me feel flirty and fun.  Plus the color compliments so many skin tones, I never saw pink on someone that I didn't like.

Leather Weather

I love the versatility of my Adidas sneaks.  They bring up the trend factor on any outfit.  They work especially well on days where you need to move quickly because you have a lot to do, but you still feel like being cute.  Wear them on a day running errands or walking around being a savvy chic tourist.  Just don't wear them to say... the Met Ball, that is where I draw the line. ;)  Leather leggings are perfect for cold weather, they'll heat you up in no time at all- I'm talking to you East Coast!  I got the below pair at Target last year for $10.00!!!  It was an end of the season sale, but they still have similar pairs now.  Hop to it and stay warm love bunnies!!!

Sparkling 2015

I hope you all had a lovely holiday!  I know I sure did, visiting family and friends in WI!  I am so excited for 2015.  It's always nice to begin another year, clean slate, fresh start.  Though I must say 2014 was a good year as well.  I would like to give a special thank you to all my Patti Cake supporters and bloggie friends!  You made 2014 a great year for this little fashion blog!  Thank you for all your comments and likes, they never go unnoticed and are always much appreciated!  XOXO

Okay- on to 2015!  Let it sparkle!
