Tea Cup Saucer Nails

The new trend in nails are nude or naked nails.  Coated with a skin colored lacquer, they are supposed to look very natural and perfect.  Nail art is supposedly on it's way out.  I purchased some polish resembling my foundation bottle to try the new trend, Sally Hansen 315 in camelflage.  It was nice and neural for a fresh no fuss look.  However, in couple of days I got bored of it, and thus my tea time nails were born.  Nail art is still in for me!  I have listed below the products that I used to acquire this look.  Oh, and it was my first time using Jamberry.  As this is only day two of the nail wrap and I need to wait a bit longer before I can share my thoughts on those.

Sally Hansen Nail Lacquer: Mint Sorbet // Essie Nail Lacquer: Poppy Art Pink // Sally Hansen Nail Lacquer: Camelflage // Seche Vite: Dry Fast Top Coat // Sally Hansen nail art pen: white // Jamberry Nail Wrap: Vintage Chic // Nail Art Decal: Artclub (Sally's Beauty, unfortunately found this once and haven't been able to find it again)

*Seche Vite is awesome!!!  If you love doing your nails and hate smudging or waiting for dry time you must get this!  It is a game changer!  ... my jamberry wraps are starting to peel in the corners...

Floral Crop & Double Slit Palazzo Pants

Around 4th of July I stopped in at Urban Outfitter's summer sale.  I happened to be one of the first people there, and boy did I score some goodies!!!  The combo below is all Urban and so flowy and comfy, perfect for a warm summer day.  I know some people are anti palazzo, but I however am embracing this comfy trend.  For now.  ;)

Wendy Darling- eShakti

"Now think of the happiest things.  It's the same as having wings." -Peter Pan

Something about this dress made me want to prance around town.  It is so light, such a pretty blue hue, and very lady like.  The color reminded me of Wendy's night gown from Disney's Peter Pan.  The lovely folks at eShakti were kind enough to offer me a dress of my choosing and sent it over for me to give it a looksey.  I looksied and me likey!  They have a lovely array of clothing, and get this folks, it is customizable to your liking!!!  You can enter in your measurements and they cater to your height, size and style.  Don't want sleeves?  Take them off.  Hem too long?  Shorten it up.  Highly suggest taking advantage of that feature when ordering on the website.   Yes sirrah, you enter your exact measurements when ordering a garment and they create it for you.  They have also been so kind as to provide a coupon code for my lovely Patti Cake readers (that's YOU).  Enter " chelseystyles " for 10% off your order.  Other items I liked were this Floral Vine Print dress, this Elephant Print Cotton Dress, and this Dandelion Print Maxi.  Have fun browsing!

You make me feel like dancing

Dress: eShakti  // Shoes: Gifted (past season, Old Navy)

eShakti provided me with this dress for the purpose of the review, though my views and opinions remain my own.  Coupon code is good 8/5- 9/5 and cannot be used on clearance or overstock items.

You are the Coco to my Channel- Style Lately

When I saw this tee on Style Lately I knew it had to be mine.  I have been imagining all the possible outfits I'm going to style with it, like this one on my instagram.  I was excited to dress it up, but then for it's debut I ended up going with a more casual cool look.  Haha, well cool to me anyway.  Speaking of instagram, the new lip craze is Kylie Jenner's lip color that she has been sporting in all her selfies.  I've seen one of my fave make up gurus Nicole Guerriero do a post on it, below was the color I came up with to mimic the look.  It was pretty spot on in person, though in the photos it came off as a bit darker.  Back to the drawing board- or mixing board as it were.  Perhaps adding a lighter mauve?...  Whatdya think?

Red, White & Blue Weekend

We had an epic first Nashville 4th of July.  :)  My sister Ashley, and her fiancĂ© Carl came down for a visit, and we definitely dressed for the occasion!  The more you get into it, the more fun it is!  Take a peak.  Special thanks to our weekend visitors (Nick too) who made our 4th a blast!  And though we had a great time with events and activities, we still missed our fellow Wisconsinites!  Cheers!
