Giveaway! Adore Me!

No, I am not being extremely narcissistic with that title.  I am sharing with you a great brand of lingerie, and since Valentine's Day is just around the corner, well- 'tis the season!  (Sorry for the lack of outfits this week, however it's been dang cold out and I'm a wimp.  Kudos to all braving the cold in their skirts.)

Adore Me has been on the scene since 2012.  Based out of NYC they offer designer lingerie, sleepwear and swimwear at affordable prices!  They have a wide range of styles and sizes and I was pleased to see they design for every kind of woman DD+ and up!

When visiting their website I got to take a fun quiz to help tailor my shopping experience.  Very short, and actually was fun, promise.  There were so many great little outfits & corsets I was having a hard time deciding.  (Truly, ask my sister, I probably messaged her 50 times)  Many of the styles were reminiscent of a brand we've all heard of- Victoria's Secret, but minus the expensive price tag.  It makes sense though since Adore Me's head of design formerly worked at Victoria's designing the Angel collection, and brings her years of expertise to the Adore Me design process.

So have a little fun and get cheeky this Valentine's Day!  Enter the Adore Me giveaway below!

Adore Me provided me with this bra set for the purpose of the review, though my views and opinions remain my own. Giveaway is being sponsored by Adore Me and is open to residents of US and Canada.

Currently Coveting

Valentine's Day and my birthday are just around the corner so I have stocked my pinterest boards with possible purchases.
From skin care, to make-up, to fashion items, this is what I am currently coveting:

The SheInside Embroidery Blouse is so lovely, however when I checked back at the website they are out of stock!!!  Haha, did you guys go ahead and purchase before I could?  :)  I have been eyeing Jeffrey Campbell black booties since October, and searching for the best dupes.  After sighting this new twist on the bootie for spring, I think my heart is officially set.  Though, I did find some lookalikes at DSW that are one fourth the price… (seen here on my pinterest board).  I would have to try them on to decide.  I first heard about L'Oreal Paris Revitalft Miracle Blur on one of my fave beauty guru's youtube channel Michelle Guerriero.  She was claiming a whole lot about this little product, and I didn't really believe her.  Then I was able to put a little dollop on my hand at a friends house and all visible lines were instantly blurred.  Aptly named product there.  I am not sure about the Kat Von D Lock-It concealer.  I was in the market for a concealer by EM cosmetics, but after reading reviews decided that maybe it wasn't worth the shipping fees and guessing what color I would be ect, so I am going to give Kat's a try first.  A while back I saw an interview with Khloe Kardashian where she said that the best illuminator she has ever used was Kevyn Aucoin's Celestial Powder in Candlelight.  I figured the girl must know, she works with lots of make-up.  Plus I've had Mr. Aucoin's makeup books since freshman year of high school, I figure I should probably have at least one product from his line.  I'm extremely picky with illuminators, I don't like anything with visible glitter/shimmer.  It has to be oh so subtle.  When I tried some on my hand at the cosmetic market it was just that.  Another product that exactly fits it's name.  Celestial Powder in Candlelight (sigh).  So pretty.  Lastly, there has been so much hype about the Glam Glow Mud Mask!  My best youtube beauty channels are going crazy for it, saying they wake up with changed & gorgeous skin the next morning.  Soo…I thought I would give it a try!  Who doesn't want to wake up with changed gorgeous skin?

In other news, I am having a Valentine's Day Giveaway next week, so be on the look out for that!

If you have tried or are wanting to try any of the above products, let me know your thoughts!  Sharing is caring!

Lipping Off

I have loved the bold, vampy lip looks that have come off the runways this season and last.  Taking full advantage of the trend I have worn some shades darker than usual this past fall.  (We're talking Black Maroon back in October folks)  There is so much fun to be had playing with lipsticks, balms, stains ect...  One makeup item I requested for Christmas was the new LipSurgence matte lip tint by Tarte.  I fell in love with the color Fiery and have been wearing it every other day.  It is a great matte color, and goes on silky smooth, plus it's cruelty free.  Another one of my faves, (purchased last year but seen on me here) is Stila Color Balm Lipstick in Elle.  It is so pigmented!  One might be frightened away at first look, fearful of neon pink lips.  But just a couple dabs of this peppermint oil infused lip stick is all you need and you can create a varying amount of intensity.  It makes for the perfect spring pout!

Watch Out Annie Hall!

A recent post from WhoWhatWear.com proclaimed, suspenders are back!  And I for one am always ready to hop on the suspender train.  Throw on my (as my mom dubbed them) "Grandma Shoes" and I'm rockin' the Annie Hall look.  And who wouldn't want to be Annie Hall for a day?  She was an adorable mess!

I love this lipstick! Great amount of pigment, and it smells like peppermint oil.
The color of the Stila Elle online photos don't do it justice.

Be Bold. Go Gold.

I used to be a silver girl.  All through the 90's I wore my spoon rings, bracelets and dainty silver necklaces like they were going out of style.  Guess what, they kinda were.  I even remember having a conversation with my mom about how much I adored silver jewelry, and didn't understand who would choose gold?  She told me that when I was older, I would want gold.  I laughingly swore up and down that I would never!  I also claimed that I would never wear any other style of pants other than flared... (wrote the woman wearing tapered skinnies) ahem.  What can I say?  One's style evolves, develops, and changes.  Never be afraid to go back on your teenage declarations.  Be bold, go gold.  Also linking up with the Trend Spin Link UP for Winter White!
