For the longest time I have steered clear of the store Old Navy. I know it was because of my aversion to their tacky ad campaigns that they had running for the longest time. The most annoying commercials ever. So when I would pass the store, I associated tackiness to it. I knew they had some cute stuff, and for fair to good prices. But I couldn't get passed the image they had created for themselves. Once and a while an item would make it's way into my closet somehow, ( I will attribute it to clothes swapping ) and I would eventually seam rip the tag so I didn't have to look at it. Well folks, they did end up having some memorial day sales that I could not resist, and I have to own up to it. My husband needed a bunch of new khakis, and this maxi dress stood out like a beacon of light on the way down the aisle. As soon as I touched the fabric, I knew I had to have it. 100% rayon, soft and silky smooth, very light & cool for the summer months. So there you have it. I got my dress at Old Navy, and as I haven't seen any of their commercials in a while, I am assuming they are less annoying, so I can live with it.
