Fringe Fever...

Okay, I may have gone too far, however when I tried this fringe bag on at Macy's I couldn't put it back down.  And then it was on sale, so yes, I have added more fringe to my fall collection.  Yes, I am a maniac.  No, I will not wear all pieces together at once.  Or will I,… I guess it would be hard to wear two pairs of shoes at the same time.  See my other fringe looks here and here.

We finally made it to Nashville's Cheekwood to see artist Bruce Munro's Light exhibition.  We went on the absolute last day possible, of course.  Still, it was beautiful, and there was something magical about the crispness in the air.  David and I sat on a wooden bench, holding hands, admiring a field of lights.  It was peaceful and enchanting.

Fringing Out

Sooo, after I had purchased my fave Nine West fringe booties featured here, I quickly decided as cute as they were I couldn't get away with wearing them for every day.  And I was really in the mood to be fringing out all the time.  I needed more functional fringe.  I stumbled upon these on the DSW website, and the rest was history.  Now these flat footed fringes accompany me around Nashville, for a more friendly trip to Harris Teeter.  And they are just so fun!

So bare with me here, but for this outfit I am channeling the scarecrow, and the scarecrow, I believe, is channeling Katherine Hepburn.  Two degrees of channeling- I know, this can get confusing very fast.

Light as a Feather Leather

Still a bit too hot around these parts to be donning leather pieces.  The evenings have cooled off a little, making it possible to wear this great light weight leather jacket without sweating (haha, kinda).  I'm sorry I can't say exactly the store I purchased it from (some little shop on Melrose when we were living in L.A.)  However I'm certainly glad I picked it up that day because it is my go to transitional piece.  Throw it over anything for a little edge.  But my utmost favorite thing from this outfit are the leather fringe booties!  I feel like a little pony in a parade clopping around in them.  Ahh, love 'em!  Too much fun!
