Ooh Baby Designs

Oh baby- I was so excited to find out that I had won this great scarf thanks to Jenny from Plane Pretty and Stephanie from Ooh Baby Designs!  Remember those giveaways I was gushing about here J.Crew Winner, Chicken Dinner?  Well, this was another one of those contests!  Guess what?  This new, super soft, black and white, chevron infinity scarf just inspired todays fashion post!  Well whatyaknow.

Make-up.  Eyeshadow by Mac in Samoa Silk, Eyeliner Revlon ColorStay Liquid Eye Pen, Mascara  Maybelline Full & Soft in Very Black,  Garnier skin Renew Anti- Dark circle roller for under my eyes, Warmth by Bare minerals bronzer, Covergirl Outlast lip stain in Sassy Mauve 420 and Lipfusion Infatuation in The Flesh gloss on lips.  In outside pics I added a touch of Stila Color Balm lipstick in Elle.  (Just a touch though, it's quite electric!)

Polish:  Ballet Slippers by Essie (TIP: only put one coat so that white tips of nails can be seen through the nail polish)

Tahiti Sweetie

I had the amazing experience in 2010 to travel to Tahiti!  My husband, then fiancé, has family there and we went for a visit!  Tahiti is absolutely breathtaking!

Even better than the beautiful scenery was meeting the rest of David's family!!!

They were so kind, fun,  gracious, and spoiled us terribly by showering us with gifts and delicious food the whole time we were there! (why did we leave?)  One such gift was a dress made by one of David's Aunts, Nadine:

 She made this sun dress/maxi dress for me before they were even a trend!

This dress has come in handy this summer as we have hit upwards of 80 degrees already!  Perfect for a hot island and perfect for a hot city.

Trend Spin Linkup- Mint!

So excited to be participating in the Trend Spin LinkUP!  I have just the outfit post for the mint trend this week:

So I realize I have done this outfit post before, however when the new Trend Spin Linkup via (Laura from Walking in Memphis in High Heels) and (Erin from The Fashion Canvas) announced that the first trend for the first week was mint, well how could I not use this outfit?  It was like this shirt was waiting in the wings for it's moment to shine!
