Let's Get Nautical

Land locked! No escaping to a beach front here. Drats! Time to play pretend with my nautically inspired outfit. Left my hair au natural for the beach effect, it always looks better after a dip in the ocean. Ah, well, here's dreaming for now.

When putting this look together I was surprised that I didn't have any clothing with nautical fonts since I love ocean/ beach inspired looks. Then realizing that my living room has a nautical theme, I figured this is probably a good thing as I wouldn't want to be camouflaged into it...
yeah, I'll let him be the lucky one.

Cropped Polka Dots

The first day of spring has sprung! Along with it, retail spring fever. Last year around this time I was coveting cropped pants and this year the same thing! These playful polka dots have been on my radar for a few months now. When I saw them on another gal at the Southern Women's show in Memphis, I was sold. Express had buy one pair of jeans get the second for $29.99, though now these bad boys are on sale for $39.99. Not too shabby, especially since I liked all things cropped that they had to offer.
